THE BYD AUTO 3
The BYD Atto 3 is a battery-electric compact crossover SUV that is produced by BYD Auto. The Yuan Plus, a member of the BYD Yuan series that bears the name of the Yuan dynasty, was introduced in Mainland China in February 2022. The automobile is BYD’s first electric passenger car model for a number of international markets. It is also sold as the BYD Yuan Plus in China and a few Latin American nations. The Atto 3 is the first car on BYD’s newest electric platform, which has the potential to take FWD, RWD and AWD. This has made the BYD Atto 3 the fastest selling electric vehicle in the world
BYD ATTO 3 BATTERY POWER AND PRICE
The BYD Atto 3 has 4.0 mile per kWh of 261 miles when fully charged. With a 60kWh battery size, its maximum charge speed is 150kWh, charging at 9 hours 42 minutes (0-100%) for 7kW and 44 minutes (10-80%) for 150kW.
BYD Blade battery technology which has been developed over several years, because of its superior design over conventional designs, the Blade battery is a lithium-ion phosphate (LFP) battery that is stronger, lasts longer, stores more power, and has a wider range. The BYD Atto 3 has a RRP range of £37,695 to £39,695.

ATTO 3 EXTERIOR LOOKS
Although the exterior is well-executed, nobody will be falling in love with the BYD Atto. It speaks in well-known tongues. ‘EV’ is conveyed via the full-width front and back lighting, the blanked-out grille, and the metallic side panels. The roof rails, lower cladding, and towering dimensions together convey a “crossover” feeling.

The style seems to be inspired by a gym. The gear selector, which resembles an Airbus throttle lever, and the large, bulky air vents are meant to resemble dumbbells. The top-spec Atto 3 models come with a large 15.6-inch screen, while the base model has a 12.0-inch screen. The Apple-style menu and icons function nicely, and the screen is snappy. You can link your phone to Apple CarPlay appropriately and Android Auto too, a wireless phone charger, DAB digital radio will make every ride enjoyable.
The highlight of the screen is its ability to swivel completely from an upright portrait arrangement to a horizontal landscape layout with a single button press, and vice versa. Your instrument panel, located behind the wheel, is little in comparison to the large central screen. While it is readable and crisp, the one on our test car seemed to be positioned slightly off-center, which doesn’t speak well of the Atto’s construction.
The upper sections of the cabin have excellent material quality, with several soft-touch surfaces and buttery-soft vegan leather. The BYD ATTO 3 has an electric panoramic sunroof with an electronic slide and anti-trap to let in as much light as possible, heated front seats, keyless entry, a one-touch open and close tailgate, and electrically heated, adjustable, and retractable side mirrors.

SAFETY AND SECURITY
Blind spot detection, traction control, adaptive (i.e., radar-guided) cruise control, traffic sign recognition, automated emergency braking, lane-keeping steering, and rear collision warning are just a few of the many safety features that are included on all BYD Atto 3 models. After undergoing a crash test, the Atto 3 received a complete five-star rating from Euro NCAP, with an adult protection score of 91% the highest in its class. With seven SRS airbags front, front side, full length curtain, and driver’s passenger side airbags the ATTO 3 is designed with the safety of both the driver and the passengers in mind. The ISOFIX child restraint anchorage points are included as standard equipment in the outside rear seats.
