       Overview

In addition to a number of other enhancements, the re-release sees the Huawei-backed model range rise from four to five. Most importantly, all of the cars in the range can now reach a range of at least 630 km CLTC.

With official costs ranging from 249,800 to 349,800 yuan (34,500 to 48,350 USD), there are now five versions in the Luxeed S7 range exactly the same range as previously. Additionally, there are purportedly up to 30,000 yuan (4,150 USD) in incentives for things like gift packs, interior options, and Huawei ADS 2.0 additions.

Eight Huawei “black technologies,” such as the Huawei DriveOne 800V silicon carbide high-efficiency platform, the Huawei ADS and intelligent cockpit powered by HarmonyOS4, and the Turing intelligent chassis, empower the car. By utilizing an 82 kWh battery instead of the previous 550 kWh one, the base Pro version’s range is increased to 705 km. Its acceleration time is 5.4 seconds, and it can add 353 km of range in 15 minutes. The vision-based Huawei ADS Basic Intelligent Driving technology is in charge of guiding the Pro.

The Huawei ADS premium intelligent driving system ADS premium intelligent driving system, which makes use of a roof-mounted Lidar unit, is added to the Max models. The Max+ battery has a maximum capacity of 100 kWh, which provides the vehicle with an 855 km CLTC range and the ability to add 430 km of range in 15 minutes. The Max+ also includes shoulder pillow audio in addition to heating, ventilation, and massage for the front seats and heating, ventilation, and heating for the back seats.

The 82 kWh battery pack for the S7 Max RS 4WD Performance Edition with two motors and a mix of CDC and air suspension more than make up for it. The dual motor version’s acceleration is lowered to 3.3 seconds, but its range is only 630 km with the smaller battery; an additional 315 km may be added in 15 minutes. In all-wheel drive variants, the front axle receives a 150 kW motor. High-performance perforated brake discs from FNC and Brembo have also been fitted, as well as a queen seat with zero-gravity, warmth, ventilation, and an electric leg rest for the passenger.

The newest model in the lineup, the S7 Ultra, is a flagship vehicle. It basically only differs from the S7 Max RS 4WD Performance Edition in that it can store up to 100 kWh of extra battery life. As a result, the Ultra has a 751 km range and can add 375 km in 15 minutes.

The Updated ADS Versions

The Luxeed S7 Pro boasts a visual intelligent driving system that is enabled by 10 high definition cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 3 millimeter wavelength radars. This enables the vehicle to use automation on and off ramps as well as NCA (Navigation Cruise Assist) on urban expressways and highways. It can autonomously shift lanes and avoid obstructions when operating under NCA. The automatic parking system can handle parking in more complicated scenarios, like extremely tiny spots, in addition to vertical, parallel, and oblique spaces. 96% of parking spaces can be recognized, with a 95% success rate.

The vehicle can perform Urban NCA thanks to the high-end ADS system’s addition of a Lidar device to the sensors. It covers the majority of Chinese roadways, especially those in cities, and is not reliant on extremely accurate mapping. According to Huawei, 99.56% of roads are covered.

The car’s maximum detection range of 250 meters is attributed to a 192 line lidar, which is 20% greater than the industry norm. The systems aid in the collision avoidance system’s effective range. Currently, rear support operates between 1 and 60 km/h with active detection of people, cars, and other obstacles, forward AEB operates between 4 and 140 km/h, and lateral active safety operates between 40 and 130 km/h.

Production

Chery and Huawei collaborated to create the automotive brand Luxeed, which sells its products through the Huawei retail network. The new models will begin to be delivered, and Chery claims that a car can come off the production line once every minute. According to Chery, it is made on the most sophisticated production line in the world, which is fully automated for body stamping and uses manufacturing precision comparable to that of an aircraft, with body clearance of the surface measured by laser with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. To assure quality, every car is put through 10,000 tests in total before it leaves the production line.

Supercharging Capacity

Version states that the Luxeed S7 can add 215 km of range in five minutes and uses as little as 12.4 kWh of energy per 100 km. Huawei’s high-voltage SuperCharge technology, which is compatible with the industry’s common charging protocols, has been introduced for the first time. The automobile makes use of several clever techniques to increase range. By unlocking the full battery charge, the super power saving mode 2.0 is said to be able to enhance range by up to 10%.

The car’s systems are used to address charging issues. To take advantage of off-peak prices, users can use the app to remotely set the charging time for their home chargers. Drivers can plug and charge using third-party public chargers that are a part of the Huawei extended network without having to use third-party apps or scan codes. In order to offer suggestions for charging in a timely manner, the system also cleverly keeps track of the route and remaining charge. In order to facilitate faster charging during the winter, there is also an innovative adaptive charging technology that allows the battery to be dynamically heated while traveling to the charging station.

By cleverly controlling cabin temperature, Huawei’s intelligent thermal management system (TMS) attempts to mitigate range deterioration in cold climates. Due to its connection to the seat sensors, the air conditioning system will only blow warm air into seats that have occupants in them. Additionally, when the AC and heated steering wheel are used together, the heating system optimizes to use less energy while maintaining driver comfort.

The system’s overall goal is to keep the car’s air temperature constant while using the least amount of power possible. It is claimed that doing this will increase range by roughly 20 km and save energy usage by about 15%.
